Because Tom Lack designed this catamaran with such a versatile layout most were built and finished to the desire of the purchaser. Wind Dragon’s layout is a bit different than any illustrations we’ve found, but still very similar to the layouts shown on the original brochure.
At purchase, our layout has the master to port forward and a guest (twin and single) to starboard forward. Our starboard aft half-cabin had been converted to extended galley area with refrigeration, counter, and pantry space. I did a quick mock up fix here:
As with most properties a person purchases over their lifetime, this catamaran did not continue to look as it did the day we purchased her and will continue to morph into a space that best fits our way of living as we put our own personal stamp on her. I will create and post a proper new layout as we re-design the blueprint to our desires; the first major project is already in planning!
